We are pleased to announce that the Lagos State Electricity Board has successfully executed the annual Energy Conservation and Management Plan (ECMP) across 19 MDAs in 2023. Our mission: to foster effective energy management, ensure sustainability, and reduce energy consumption. This endeavor involves increased efficiency and a decreased carbon footprint. Notable facilities audited include Lagos Driver’s Institute, Lagos Theaters, Lawma Offices, and Lawma Depot, etc.
Our process encompassed:
I. A comprehensive knowledge sharing session on ECMP practices and a thorough review of previous audit findings with the MDA staff.
II. Reassessment of energy consumption within these facilities, establishment of ECMP practices, and the formulation of achievable targets spanning two years.
Through these dedicated efforts, we have empowered numerous MDAs to manage energy consumption more efficiently, subsequently reducing energy expenditure and minimizing environmental impact compared to prior years. #SustainableLagos #EnergyConservation #EcoEfficiency
