Mr Lateef Demilola Shitta, has 17 years working experience spanned across the Private and Public Sector. He obtained his first degree from the University of Teesside (UK), graduating with BSc (Hons) Economics, second class upper (2000), and bagged his second degree from Brunnel University, West London, UK in MSc Business Finance (2001).
In year 2003, he joined Guaranty Trust Bank, plc as an Executive Trainee and worked in different aspects of the bank such as Funds Transfer Unit and Retail Banking Unit. In 2006, he rose to the position of Relationship Manager/head of the Retail Banking Team in Ikorodu Town (Division). As a result of his outstanding performance, Mr Shitta was head hunted by Access Bank Plc in 2008 to become its Branch Manager in Ikorodu Town and within 9 months performed exceptionally by growing the Branch balance sheet size by over 400%.
In November 2009, Mr Shitta, joined the Lagos State Public Service and was employed by the Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency (LASAA) as a Deputy Manager and rose to become a Senior Manager and Head of the Administrative Department, a position he held for 5 years. In 2016, Mr Shitta was redeployed and absorbed into the Lagos State mainstream Civil Service as a Chief Admin/Human Resource Officer, GL.14 and was posted to the Service Matters Directorate, Public Service Office, Office of Head of Service.
Being a seasoned administrator, in September 2019, Mr Shitta (Assistant Director A & HR) was deployed to the Lagos State Electricity Board, to Head the Administration & Human Resource Department.
Mr Shitta has a vast knowledge in the Financial and Public sectors of the World’s Economy. He hails from Ikorodu Local Government area of Lagos State.
